If you know of Bill Phillips then you'll know of the foods he recommends if you don't then you will after reading this. What I like about the recipes are that they are not special health foods and nothing that cost's too much to buy.

 

Every ingredient you should be able to buy in your local supermarket or normal market, but there is slight downside in that alot of the ingredients are american, but with a little research you should be able to find the UK alternative.

 

The book is laid out into sections for breakfast, lunch etc which is good and there is even a treats section, wow healthy treats, fantastic!!What this book puts across though is that you can still eat colourful, nutritious and healthy foods without sacrificing too much of your favourites, well unless your favourites include micky d's and stella, then there's no hope for you!

 

A well laid out and informative book, Bill even goes into the why of eating healthy and what it will do for you, remember that thing your local doctor used to say ... "You are what you eat!" ... well thats even more important in todays fast paced world ... get this and you'll never be stuck again for ideas on how to eat healthy Great read!

This is a very colorful and beautiful book. There are pictures included with every recipe, which is great for me because I am a very visual person.

 

The meals are very healthy, but did not keep me full for long because I have a high metabolism. These recipes are ideal for people who are trying to lose weight, not for people like myself who are already lean and just trying to gain muscle. All the ingredients in this book are low fat or fat free, so my body is not being fed all the necessary nutrients I need to work out. Overall, great book.
